Ingo Maurer Floatation lamp

Ingo Maurer Floatation lamp

Description

The Floatation lamp was created by the poet of light himself - Ingo Maurer. This floating suspension lamp is composed by three shades made of fine crinkled Japanese paper shades which are suspended from thin metal cables. The individual lamp shades hang from thin steel wires, that are turned around at the ceiling rose. The red led ring iron functions as a visual contrast to the light paper and as physical counter weight, and by moving this ring up and down the Flotation can be freely adjusted in height. - The paper screens are lid up from inside - giving both an indirect gentle diffused light as well as a direct downturned light. - The Floatation is available in different sizes and two cord lengths.
